v     CTS students actively participate in the “After School Homework/Tutoring Center” that takes place four days per week, one hour duration per day.

v     For the past six years, CTS has been required to report adequate yearly progress which is based on the LEAP and iLEAP standardized tests.  The Chitimacha Tribal School utilizes the same formula that is required by the state of Louisiana Department of Education to compute the adequate yearly progress.  The Chitimacha Tribal School has met the criteria for achieving the Adequate Yearly Progress status for the past six years.  For the past two years the Chitimacha Tribal School’s School Performance Score has been above one hundred.
